The Martes Neológico blog is an initiative that aims to disseminate a few words in Spanish every Tuesday that are not included in the Dictionary of the Spanish Language (DLE, formerly the DRAE). The Martes Neológico is the result of a collaboration agreement between the Observatori de Neologia and the Cervantes Institute.
The blog has recently included postureo as its 25th entry. “Postureo” is a word formed through suffixation (as in “monitoreo”) and is mainly used in social media but can also be found in print media.
