[05/04/16] New publications on neology by the IULATERM group

The book La neologia lèxica catalana and the latest issue (number 59) of the magazine ‘Caplletra’ were both presented at a ceremony held last 10 March at the Institut d'Estudis Catalans (IEC).

The book La neologia lèxica catalana, co-edited by Judit Freixa, Elisenda Bernal and M. Teresa Cabré (researchers of the Observatori de Neologia and IULATERM groups), aims to reflect the variety of processes that play a role in the development of new words in Catalan.

The latest issue of the magazine ‘Caplletra’ (number 59, autumn 2015), coordinated by M. Teresa Cabré, includes several contributions on Catalan neology. As reported in a previous summary, the issue features three research articles by researchers at the Observatori de Neologia (IULATERM):
