The Institute for Applied Linguistics extends heartfelt congratulations to Dr Mercè Lorente Casafont on her appointment as a full member of the Language Department (‘Secció Filològica’) of the Institute for Catalan Studies (IEC).
Her appointment became effective on the occasion of the last plenary session of the Institute for Catalan Studies, which took place last 18 January.
Dr Lorente is the lead researcher of the IULATERM group, and she specialises in the fields of lexicology, lexicography and terminology.
