The German Society for Forensic Linguistics presented a posthumous award to Professor Maria Teresa Turell Julià for her contributions and commitment to the field of Forensic Linguistics.
The award was made during the Society’s Roundtable on Forensic Linguistics and Forensic Phonetics 2015, which was held last September 5-6 in Mainz, Germany.
Professor Turell, a former director of the IULA and former President of the International Association of Forensic Linguists, died in April, 2013.
