[31/07/15] Success of the course Forensic Linguistics: the CSI of Language in the UPF Junior Campus

Forensic Linguistics: the CSI of Language (La Lingüística Forense: els CSI de la Llengua) was one of the courses included in the framework of the UPF Junior Campus programme. It took place from 13 to 17 July 2015 in the Campus of Poblenou and was attended by around twenty students. The lecturers were the researchers of the Lab of Forensic Linguistics, Jordi Cicres, Núria Gavaldà, Montse Marquina and Sheila Queralt.

The course focused its contents on the most practical aspects of forensic linguistics, the branch of evidential and probative language. The students used case studies to analyse documents and their authorship, cases of plagiarism and other examples of the work conducted by a forensic linguist.
