The IULA-UPF CLARIN Competence Center has been recognized as CLARIN K-Centre. The IULA-UPF-CCC with the HDLab@UPF Department of Humanities, the UNED-LINHD Laboratorio de innovación en Humanides Digitales and the Grupo IXA - UPV are officially recognized as the first CLARIN K-Center of the European research infraestracture for the Humanities and Social Sciences CLARIN, the Spanish CLARIN K-Center.
Together, these institutions cover much of the possible competence on text and language processing technology competence on the major Spanish languages: Spanish, Catalan and Basque. Their role is to provide a place where people can get access to knowledge and expertise in specific areas. In particular the Spanish CLARIN K-Centre will provide the following services:
