[10/12/14] M. Teresa Cabré took part in the opening ceremony of TERMCAT’s 2014 Espais Terminològics (Terminology Spaces)

Espais Terminològics 2014, organised by TERMCAT and, in this edition, with the title “Terminologia i coneixement compartit” (Terminology and shared knowledge) took place on 26 November 2014 in Barcelona. The opening event of the conference was chaired by M. Teresa Cabré, founder of the IULA and current president of the Philological Section of the Institute of Catalan Studies; Ester Franquesa, director general of Linguistic Policy with the Catalan Government, and Jordi Bover, director of TERMCAT. Espais Terminològics is a meeting point to reflect on terminology open to the participation of all interested groups. In this edition, the discussion revolved around how to manage and apply terminology in a world where knowledge creation is definitely shared.
