Besharat Fathi, scholarship holder at the University Institute for Applied Linguistics and PhD candidate at the IULATERM group, has been awarded the International Terminology Award in the 2014 edition of the awards granted by the European Association for Terminology (EAFT Awards 2014), for her work Experts' Needs as Primary Target Users: Evaluating Specialised Dictionaries in Communicative Circumstances, her dissertation for the master’s in General and Applied Linguistics, supervised by Dr M. Teresa Cabré Castellví.
The award will be presented in Barcelona on 28 November 2014, during the EAFT Terminology Summit 2014.
