Since 2009 M.Teresa Turell has been a research member of Instituto Universitario de Investigación en Ciencias Policiales (IUICP), a center which assembles an academic institution: Universidad de Alcalá, and two Spanish police forces: the Scientific Police and the Criminalistic section of the Guardia Civil, both affiliated to the Secretaría de Estado del Ministerio del Interior and which was created to develop teaching and research programs in Police Science.
Recently, the IUICP Council approved the establishment of Memorandum Agreements with other institutions, among them, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) for the area of forensic linguistics, a discipline which is being developed by ForensicLab at IULA (Institut Universitari de Lingüística Aplicada). |
